Growing A Butter Fly Bush From Seed

I want to try to grow butterfly bushes using my existing bush. I cannot find where the seeds are! I know I can grow from cuttings, but I’d like to try the seeds first. Can anyone tell me where on the buds I can find the seeds please? Thank you

Not all butterfly bushes produce seed. Some of the hybrids do not.

If yours will produce seeds, they will be right under the blooms. Plants grown from seed may be inferior to the parent. Here is how to grow them:
