Q.Ground Covers

Anonymous added on May 26, 2011 | Answered

Between some rain flooding last year and several large trees, my backyard has almost no grass and the dust is awful. What ground cover could I plant that is also dog friendly, as I have two large dogs that might be tempted to eat whatever is growing back there.

Dichondra works well. It's a warm season ground cover that grows close to the ground. The plant has broad, bright green leaves and establishes a thick, dense carpet.
