Q.Green Mountain Boxwood shrub
I have this boxwood which has turned from green to a bronze/gold color about one year after planting it. It is now in its third season and remains the same color (bronze/gold). None of the leaves have fallen off. I don’t see new growth. If you cut a stem, the cross section shows a healthy green color. The underside of the leaves are a pale green while the side exposed to sunlight is the “fancy bronze/gold.” Does someone have an idea what has happened to the plant? Is it lacking something in the soil? What do you advise, outside of getting a new plant? Thanks for your comments.
