Q.green beans

Our green bean plants are growing great but we don’t have any flowers (buds) that turn into beans. Do you know what might cause this? My husband has Japanese beetle traps out and they are getting full. There are no holes in the leaves from insects eating them, just no flowers.

This could be due to excess nitrogen in the soil.
