Getting Rid of Carpet Bugles

Question

My neighbor has carpet bugle planted around her landscaped pond. They are invading my lawn. How can I get rid of them?

Unless you want to spray Round-up over the area, hand pulling or digging would be your only other option. You could, of course, try smothering it as well with landscape fabric, plastic, wet newspaper, etc.
