Getting Rid of Brown Spots From Gardenia Bush

joscott0610 added on November 17, 2012 | Answered

Have sprayed bush w/Talstar insecticide per our landscape guy. Doesn't remove brown spots. Have tried cleaning leaves one at a time, very time consuming. HELP!

It is either fungus or scale. Neem oil can help with both. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm

If the "spots" are on stems, they may be scale. If spots are on leaves, those will either have to be picked off or let them fall off.
