Getting Rid of Bittersweet Nightshade

Question

I have an over abundance of Bittersweet Nightshade in my yard. We’ve had a very wet, cool summer here in CT and the weed seems to love the weather. I’ve been pulling it out all summer long without any luck in getting rid of the plant. So far I haven’t put any chemicals down because of environmental and pet concerns.
