Q.Garlic & jalapeno water

Zone 64701 | brbdyer420@gmail.com added on June 4, 2019 | Answered

Is it safe to spray garlic and jalapeno water on my garden plants for bugs? I put fresh garlic in the blender and a jalapeno, blended it together and then I boiled water on the stove and poured it over that, and it has been sitting since yesterday.  I was going to add enough water to what is there after I strain it to make a gallon. Can I use the spray during the day or do I have to do it in the evening or I just don’t want to kill my garden plants. Thanks.

There are numerous do-it-yourself bug spray recipes, and I've included more information below. To be sure it won't harm your plant, test it on a small area first and wait a day or two to see how your plant responds. Also, homemade sprays may not be effective against all pests. Good luck!
