Garlic

I am trying to figure out what kind of garlic I am growing. I didn’t buy seed so that I know it’s kind, soft-necked or hard-necked, but just started planting what I purchased from the store. My garlic typically doesn’t send up scapes but a lot of it produces bulbil just above the bulb. Some of it does send up a scape with bulbil at the top and has the hard stem in the center. It has purple skins on a lot of it. It’s flavor is spicy and full. I may have anywhere from 6-12 cloves.
