I have a small gardenia bush. I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was wondering if I could plant this outdoors. It doesn’t seem to be doing so well indoors. The winters here are cold and snowy. I brought this back from Florida with me two summers ago.

You can put it outdoors during the summer, but it would need to come indoors during the winter. You will also want to help it transition between indoors and outdoors so that it does not go into shock. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/move-houseplant-outside.htm
