Q.gardenia ‘pinching’

Anonymous added on June 10, 2015 | Answered

When the blossom has yellowed, should I pinch it off? Will another bloom in its place? How much should be pinched off? Should I leave the green cup/basket that it grew from? Thanks.

Yes, you can remove the blooms to encourage more blooms. When the flower turns yellow, pinch it off at the base of the bloom. But be careful not to pinch off any buds that may be forming.
