Q.Gardenia Flower

Anonymous added on April 23, 2011 | Answered

I just bought two gardenia plants. I put them in a pot. My question is, although the plants looks really healthy and some of the flowers too, a few flowers are kind of brown.  Shall I leave them or prune them if I do have to prune them and how?

It probably does not have enough humidity. You will need to either mist it every few days or place it on a pebble tray with water in the tray to raise the humidity around the plant.

Yes, you can cut off the brown blooms.
