The plant is in a sunny, south facing spot in the house. The soil has acid contents. The leaves are turning yellow, then brown and drop off. Also, the flower buds are plentiful, but never open up to form a bloom. Please give me some help for this plant. Thank you.

It sounds like it is lacking humidity. You can raise its local humidity by either placing it on a pebble tray, misting regularly or placing a humidifier in the room with it. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/raise-humidity-for-houseplants.htm
