Q.Gardenia
I live in a very windy, hot place…top of a hill in SW Texas. I’ve had one Gardenia to die. Recently, I was given another. Can I prevent this one’s untimely death? Help!

I would first make sure that it's situated in an area that is as protected from the strong winds as possible, as this will quickly dry out the plant and may even cause wind burn, especially when planted in a container. Gardenias need moist, well-draining soil and humid conditions. This article will help with caring for gardenia plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/gardenia-plant.htm
