Question

Have a gardenia indoors and it keeps losing its leaves and they turn brown. It’s a large plant but living in New Hampshire it’s a houseplant. Right now it has a lot of flowers but since I’ve gotten the plate, it loses its leaves. Can you tell me what it needs so it doesn’t lose its leaves?

It sounds like the plant is either not getting enough water or not getting enough humidity. Make sure that you are keeping the soil moist and you may need to mist the plant daily or set it on a pebble tray with water in it.
