Zone barrington, NH | bx2wre added on July 22, 2020 | Answered

I had the most beautiful garden then last week everything went south. All my tomato plants have leaves turning yellow and black. Cuucumbers all spotted yellow then next day brown. Even the pepper plants are affected. Pictured follow. Please help.

Warm weather, humidity, and moisture can often lead to infections. This is very common at this time of year, as people tend to compensate for heat by watering more. It can happen when humidity leads to infected soils, as well.

The best course of action for this type of bacterial infection will be fungicides, though they may not be effective until the dormant season.
