Garden Overgrown With Weeds.

Question

Hi. Garden overgrown with weeds, brambles and nettles, just thick with it. I am looking to clear all weeds and put a lawn, clean up around trees that are at the edges and possibly put a dwelling at one or two stories. The plot is approx 300 sq meters. I know nothing of gardening. I am prepared to weed out all roots by hand. Looking then to raise it all. Guess a load of top soil and a digger to level? Was thinking half a meter higher. Thank you!

You have your work cut out for you! It looks like you need machinery to knock down the overgrown material and clear it before killing weeds. I'm not sure a weedeater could handle it.
