Q.fruit bushes

Anonymous added on November 28, 2014 | Answered

My late husband purchased 3 potted fruit bushes this past spring. As the weather gets colder and colder, I am not sure they will survive the winter outside in their pots. Should I keep them in the basement now until I can plant them in the warmer weather? Can I leave them in the pots all year? Thank you for your help.

They should be fine outside, but just to make sure, move them close to the foundation of your house and heap leaves and straw up around the containers. That will keep them safe for the winter.
