Q.Foxtail Palm Tree Fronds Not Coming Out All The Way.

Palm was doing great, then it was like the top center frond got stuck in trunk, didn’t come out all the way, new ones come out but only a little way, then they try to open up, but only half is out of the trunk.

Heavy rain, saturated soils, or a chemical (boron) deficiency can cause fronds not to open. They are heavy feeders and also need lots of water, but soil must be well drained. Make sure the fertilizer you use contains micronutrients. Here is more:
