Hi, I read your article on Forcing Dutch Iris Bulbs to flower. Do you have any suggestions if I have Iris pallida rhizomes and want to do the same? Thanks!

My understanding is you can't force a rhizome because it is not a true bulb. Dutch irises are bulbous. You could damage the rhizome if you try to force it. You can grow irises in containers, then bring them indoors when it starts to bloom so you can enjoy it indoors.

However, if you want to try it on a few rhizomes, you can follow the Dutch iris directions.
