Q.Forcing daffodils

Anonymous added on November 5, 2014 | Answered

I thought giving blooming daffodils in a pretty container would make a great Christmas gift. How long does it take for them to grow/bloom and do I have enough time for the holidays? Thanks in advance.

If the bulbs are pre-chilled, they take about 6-8 weeks to grow and bloom. If they are not pre-chilled, you will need to chill them for 6-12 weeks and then plant them (and wait 6-8 weeks for them to bloom).
