Q.Fire Blight

Zone Fairburn, GA 30213 | Anonymous added on May 21, 2020 | Answered

I have a pear tree that I am pretty certain has fire blight, and it has spread to the other fruit trees on the property. I would like to save the tree but not sure I can. The tree has been diseased since last spring. We lost all the peaches from the 2 peach trees and had very few apples. Is there anything we can do to save the pear tree? Is this condition only treatable in spring? The tree has almost lost all of i’s leaves as they all turned brown and black. HELP!!
