Fig Tree Disease

Question

I recently planted a Brown Turkey fig tree in my backyard, not really sure what the soil pH happens to be. It does have some red clay dirt in the area. I’ve noticed the leaves have black spots on them now and would like to know what I need to do.

This is actually a sign of fungus. Treat the plant with a fungicide and this should clear it up.
