This article will help with the non-fruiting: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/fig-tree-is-producing-fruit.htm This article should help with the brown edges: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/what-causes-brown-edges-on-leaves-of-plant.htm If they turn brown completely, then it is likely a small pest attacking the plant. There are several it could be, including scale, aphids and mealybugs. Treating the plant with neem oil, it will correct both the pest issue as well as any fungal issues. Here is more information on neem oil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
