Fig Tree

Q.fig tree

Anonymous added on June 7, 2015 | Answered

I have a fig tree growing indoors in a large unglazed terracotta pot. It is thriving in an extremely light environment and gets direct sunlight. Just recently the bottom leaves have been turning yellow and falling off and the rest of the once healthy leaves look lifeless and are beginning to wilt. Can you suggest a solution please?

It may be rootbound and no longer has enough soil to get the water that it needs. This article will help you check for that:

It may also be a pest or fungus. There are many that could cause these symptoms. Treat the plant with both a pesticide and a fungicide. I personally like neem oil as it does both and is also organic.
