I planted this one a year ago. When I bought it,it had little figs but we had an early cold spell and they froze .I had put garbage bag over it but wind blew off one limb so the very top of that one froze.Anyway it did really well and even had 6 or 7 figs to ripen but now leaves are turning yellow and I do not want anything to happen so what do I need to do?

This sounds like a fertilization issue. More than likely it is having a nitrogen deficiency. Fertilize once a year with an all purpose fertilizer.
