Is it possible to root cuttings from a ficus tree?
Certified GKH Gardening Expert
Yes, early spring when the tree has new growth is the best time to take cuttings.
Take a cutting that is 4 to 5 inches.
Place in a glass of water with a plastic bag over the top-not too tightly and place in a sunny window.
You can plant into potting soil when the roots are one half inch or longer.
