Female Sago Palm Developed Pod

lilmsnoitall added on August 17, 2015 | Answered

Female Sago Palm developed pod as though she were pupping, but instead huge fronds developed. This has never happened before, so I am curious as to what this procedure is. Every other year pups are produced. Is this something that happens every 10 years or so?
