Feeding My Sago Palm

Question

I recently was gifted a beautiful sago palm, however she was not fed . Its now September (end if active growing season) Do I go ahead and feed her and then leave her for the winter or do I not feed her and wait until April. I’m new to sagos. Please help! Thank you in advance

Waiting until spring will be best. It's too late in the year to fertilize.
