Every Summer My Front Garden Becomes Infested With Red Ants, Ive Never Been Able To Have A Decent Lawn,

My front lawn becomes infested with Red ants every summer. They make little piles of soil so when i mow over them they just become a mess of soil. Ive never been able to have a decent lawn. I live in a small cul de sac and i dont know any of my neighbours who have this problem, All Ive been able to do is pour boiling water over the ant piles.
