Q.Evening Sun Tolerant Shrubs
What plant will work well to frame the front of my house that is tolerant of shade, fragrant, and showy, with around 3 to 4 hours of hot Texas evening sun?

Believe it or not, the "Knockout" family of roses would be fine in 3-4 hours of late sun. Just don't water after 5-6pm, so the leaves will be dry by nightfall. These roses bloom profusely and are very sturdy.
