Q.Eucalyptus Silver Dollar Tree

Anonymous added on April 21, 2012 | Answered

I have a 10-12 foot Eucalyptus Silver Dollar tree in a two-foot diameter pot. It was kept inside till last month. The leaves are turning a light golden brown. It is getting full sun and has been in the 70’s-80’s, as I live in coastal South Carolina. I have not fertilized or done anything different to it since moving it outside. I would hate to lose this beautiful tree. What can I do?

Most likely it is due to the change from inside to outdoors and will right itself. It may also have a pest or a fungus. I would recommend treating the tree with neem oil. It will kill both pests and fungus on the tree. You may want to give it some additional watering as well since it is pot grown.
