Q.Eucalyptus Tree

Anonymous added on November 9, 2014 | Answered

I had a eucalyptus tree, silver dollar, die on me recently. Just out of the blue it went from green to brown. I have another tree that has some of the bark on the limbs that is splitting. Could that have been what killed the other and, if so, what can I do to stop it?

Unfortunately, these trees are susceptible to various fungi that can cause these symptoms. Is there anything else going on with the tree that might help us better pinpoint the exact problem?

It might be wise to contact your local extension service. They may have information on any fungi that are causing problems in your area.
