Q.Epsom Salt

Zone Memphis, TN | Suzshaffer added on March 29, 2017 | Answered

It has been recommended that I put Epsom salt on some of my shrubs. Do I need to buy this at the garden center or can I use Epsom salt you would buy at the drugstore?

You can use the stuff you buy at the drugstore. The agricultural grade isn't intended for human use, but both kinds are just fine for plants. You can read more about applying Epsom salts here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/epsom-salt-gardening.htm
