Q.epsom salts for plants

Zone New Lisbon, Wi 53950 | Anonymous added on July 16, 2018 | Answered

I have used epsom Salt for my gardening plants for years. This year I bought a bag of Epsom salts and did not notice it had added menthol and Eucalyptus and I just used it on my tomatoes, cukes, flowering plants. Will those two added ingredients harm my garden plants and flowers? If it is harmful what can I do to counter act it?

The effects with those essential oils is not likely anything negative, though it was likely more expensive.
Use plain Epsom Salts moving forward. The garden department likely sells larger bags for garden use.
