Q.Electric Propogator With Lights Problems
I have a propogator which hs lights. There is a timer. 4 hrs. 6.hrs 12 hrs. The lights can be adjusted to 20% 40% 60% 80% 100% I have tried the lights on 80% and 100% but the seedlings are still getting “drawn and leggy” I keep the propogator in the house as the seedlings are then protected from icey weather Has anyone experience who could advise on what settings they should be on.

Try setting the lights on 100 percent for 12 hours. 16 hours would be better. Can you adjust how close the lights are to the seedlings? They should be within a few inches (7-8 cm) and raised as the seedlings grow. Typically, leggy stems means they are not getting enough light.
