Q.Early Pumpkin Harvest

Anonymous added on August 2, 2012 | Answered

I have a pumpkin that appears to be mature and it is the first of August! I have never had this happen before (they are usually ready some time in Sept. ) Should I just leave it, or should I pick and cure it?

As long as it's ripe, you can go ahead and harvest the pumpkin. If it isn't let it be, though they can sometimes ripen off the vine. These articles will help you:
