Q.Early Blossoms On Determinate Tomato Plants

Zone Stockbridge, MIchigan 49285 | Anonymous added on June 12, 2021 | Answered

My container potted determinate tomato plants (‘patio’ variety) have only been planted two (2) weeks. They have exploded in growth and are already showing blossoms. Is this too early? Should I pluck the blossoms? Don’t want to limit the output. Will I get a full crop if I let things be? Thank you for your expert advice. Dave Auge

There will be no reason to pick the blossoms. They will fall off if they are unable to be supported by the plant.
