Question

We purchased the plant from Home Depot – the edges and tips of the leaves are brown and the new pups’ tips are brown also. Can we prevent this? There is another pup growing on its own in the same pot and there are no brown edges.

The Indoor Banana Plant has some specific growing care needed.

Optimizing it's conditions will help it stay healthy and happy.

Some browning of tips will happen.

I also suggest using distilled water for watering or letting the tap water sit for 24 hours before using for the plant.
This can help with salts building up in the soil and turning the leave edges brown or dark.
