Q.Duranta plant

Zone 10960 | Nyack Gardener added on June 12, 2017 | Answered

I purchased a duranta tree that was badly pot bound, so I teased out some of the roots and cut away the circular roots. It was blooming when I took it home but now all the leaves have dried up but they’re not dropping. Is there any hope for a comeback?
Thank you

Pruning the roots was likely to much stress for your plant.
Gently pulling out the bottom roots would have been the only necessary treatment before placing in a larger container with a good quality, well draining soil.
