Wash Out Color on Hydrangea

celestine added on July 8, 2016 | Answered

I had my hydrangea bush for years and they bloomed beautifully each year. My neighbor lost her tree which gave my bush shade because of a lighting strike. Now it gets a lot of evening sun. What can I do to help it besides digging it up? I have sun on every side of my house.

Planting a new tree or even how about a trellis near the Hydrangea to offer some protection.
