Q.Dogwood trees
Our Dogwood tree has pink flowers but they are not a dark pink like most. They also have brown tips on all of the flowers. Is there something we can put in the soil to help brighten them up and get rid of the brown ends? The tree is in a partly shady area and has good drainage.
The color of the blossoms may be appropriate to the cultivator that you are growing.
Healthy growing trees will have the best chance of growing good healthy flowers.
The browning tips could be natural aging of the flowers or symptoms of watering issues, sunlight damage or nutrition problems.
The leaves are also indicators of issues and disease.
Here are some articles to help refresh you on the care requirements and some ways to optimize the health of your tree.
