Dogwood Tree Not Blooming

We moved into our home last March and our dogwood tree bloomed beautifully. This year, however, we have had no blooms, although the new leaves are growing well. Any idea why no blooms and what should we do to ensure blooms next year?

It sounds like they have too much nitrogen. Add a phosphorus rich fertilizer to them to get them blooming again. This article will have other suggestions as well:
