Q.Does the weeping pussy willow take many years to reach 5 ft. tall?
We have lived in Georgia a short time —-the soil down here is really hard to work with. Our neighbors say just get a pick ! We did and the dirt is more than we had realized , but I have to say we are 75 years old. So —-how long does it take to grow that tree to 5 ft if we manage to get it in the ground?

I found that it grows 12 to 15 inches per year. So depending on its size when you purchase it, say 2 feet, it would take about three years to reach 5 feet.
Make sure it gets plenty of water and well-drained soil.
