Q.Does the arugula flower?

Zone Newberg, oregon | deannesavon added on August 15, 2015 | Answered

Purchased potted arugula which was doing well. I transplanted to individual pots and got some leaves, but now it is flowering. What does this represent? Is it going down for the year?

The plants have bolted and gone to seed, generally triggered by warm weather.
