Do I need to lime my cedar trees?

I would suggest you do a soil test to determine the pH of the soil before you add anything. Your local extension office can provide you with a kit that will go to your state lab for analysis. The cost for these is nominal. They will be able to tell exactly what amendments you need and how much of each.
