Q.Do I Prune My Raspberry Canes They’re Growing Long?

Zone 21044 | Anonymous added on July 16, 2021 | Answered

Are my ever everbearing raspberry primocanes growing too long? Do I need to prune? They are in a pot and growing over deck, about 8-10 feet I’m concerned nutrients aren’t there for lower part of canes, as they are fading.

If you suspect a nutrient issue, pruning will not help. You will want to feed this, regularly. Pruning will be done twice per year for your type, however.
