Do I Cut Back the Foliage on Siberian Iris After Blooming?

I have Siberian Iiris in my garden and am not sure if this type of iris needs to be cut down after blooming. Can you please advise if I should, when and how short?

After blooming, cut down the bloom stalk. Leave the foliage to go brown; after it has withered, cut it all back to 1 - 2" above ground. Here's an article with general care information:
