Do Deer Eat Ixora?

Hoping to plant pinky orange ixora but have lots of deer. They leave my big gardenia and tea olives alone, but have started munching on lantana.

Deer will eat anything, even if it is labeled as "deer resistant". They are opportunists, so if they like the taste they will eat it. Also, if they have no other food source, they will eat it.
