do cucumbers need an added supplement

Do cucumbers need an added supplement once they start making fruits? My vines are beautiful and climbing up the trellises that I made for them. I have lots of baby cucumbers but they aren’t growing very fast. Is this normal or do I need to add something to the soil?

Try giving them a feed of liquid tomato feed once a week, remember not only are the plants taking nutrients from the soil, but you also dilute them every time you water.
